An
Evening with RORY COLEMAN
I am
bringing across ultra marathoner Rory Coleman, visit (www.rorycoleman.co.uk)
and (www.ultrarace.co.uk).
He is giving a talk about his ultrarunning; consisting of 656
marathons, Mdes (Sahara Ultrarace) seven times and 9 Guinness
World Records for treadmill running, and organising ultraraces
such as his John O'Groats to Lands End Ultra I attempted in May
2010.
I have booked the
Creg-Ny-Baa for the 24th September. Rory Coleman will
talk from 7.30-8.15pm. Then there will be a Q&A session with him.
After that chip baps will be served followed by a short talk by
myself about my Double Parish Walk and my Commonwealth Games
experience. There is a bar and tickets
are £12 each. There is a raffle too. For tickets please e-mail
me or phone 07624481792. Please support this evening as Rory is
a very motivated ultrarunner who has organised many races in the
UK. He will give an inspiring and knowledgeable talk.
Please contact me in advance for a ticket!
All money raised
from the raffle will go to the Hyperbaric Chamber (visit
www.hboman.com).
Please help me
raise lots of money for the Chamber. Thanks. |
